Position - Key Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a critical role in fostering strong relationships with key clients to maximize business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires a strategic and results-oriented professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Key Account Manager is responsible for understanding the client's needs, promoting company products or services, and driving revenue growth within assigned key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Act as the main point of contact between the company and key accounts. Understand client needs and objectives to provide accurate solutions and services.
Account Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement account strategies. Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets and objectives set for key accounts. Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue goals. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company's products or services and industry trends. Provide clients with information on new products or enhancements.
Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to assess account performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports on key account metrics, sales, and forecasts.
Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly. Ensure that clients receive a high level of service and support.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Team Handling

Experience - 3 to 6 yrs
